How in the hell can a self-employed person join a union? Who will they go on strike against? Themself? Their customers? The babies? LOL
This makes zero sense. These people are working in their own houses, setting their own wage. If they can’t make a living at it, i feel bad for them, but unions aren’t for sole proprietors. LOL

I’m thinking of doing an online Medical Transcription course, then when I’m finished I’d be working from home as a Transcriptionist. I have a preschooler, toddler, and a newborn. The class would be starting this fall and I think it takes between 6-12 months to finish. Has anyone done an online class and/or worked from home like this? If yes, is it really hard to find the time? Is this something I should do? My other option is to have my husband watch the kids and go take a course at the school at night. I’m going back in forth between the Medical Transcription thing which can be done from home, or getting my nursing degree and working away from home part-time. Any advice/experience would be appreciated.
